University of California, Riverside PODER – a student club: http://student.ucr.edu/~eumej001/index.htmlalong and UCR Chicano Educational and Cultural Fund, Inc, hosted an on campus fundraiser for AB 540 students – illegal alien students. CA State Assemblymember Gil Cedillo (D) L.A. was the scheduled keynote speaker. The night before the fundraiser, we were notified that Gil Cedillo cancelled his speaking engagement.
