Above video – June 5, 2009: Activists visit Congressman Joe Baca’s http://www.house.gov/baca/ office to proclaim no amnesty and to advocate for the hiring of American workers.
Above, seated in Congressman Baca’s lobby. A senior staff member met with three ralliers. The rest of us waited in the lobby and carried on a very spirited dialogue with three of Baca’s staff members. One of the staff members, a young man, told us that his parents are “undocumented.”

Why celebrate Cinco de Mayo? The battle fought against the French on May 5, 1862 in Puebla, Mexico – many scholars claim it was unlikely Mexico won the battle. Yet Cinco de Mayo is celebrated as a Mexican victory.

Claremont, California Overpass
On May 1, 2009 there was an excellent response from vehicles driving past our freeway flag rallies. 100 percent of support! Lots of truck driver honks. Smiles, waves, thumbs up, applause from passing motorists on the freeway as well as those driving past us on the street. It was a loud and nonstop honking-fest of support.

Brea, Califonia (Orange County)

A soilder pulled off the freeway to thank us!
